The blend for the 2016 is: 55% Furmint and 45% Harslevelu. The Pajzos' Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2016 was aged for two and one-half years in 220 liter, Hungarian oak casks, of which 30% were new. It was then assembled, lightly filtered, and bottled on August 22, 2019 . The stunning residual sugar level of 175 grams per liter and it is balanced by 10 grams per liter of acidity. The 2016 vintage's ideal combination of great ripeness and vibrant acidity is the epitome of the Pajzos house style, and is considered an ideal vintage by the estate.
