Tierra de Ensueño’s Blanco Tequila is an innovative, small-batch highland expression crafted at NOM 1580 (Hacienda El Olvido) by Master Distiller Sergio Cruz and Master Blender Oscar Vázquez, uniquely given a brief rest in rare Weller bourbon barrels. Pours a brilliant, crystal-clear liquid with a faint golden-straw hue and thick, viscous legs in the glass, it opens with an expressive and aromatic nose of sweet cooked agave, bright lime and orange citrus, white pepper, and fresh floral undertones, complemented by delicate notes of wet stone minerality, anise, and a subtle kiss of dry oak. Medium-full-bodied, rich, and remarkably silky on the palate at an elevated 42% ABV (84 proof), it delivers a vibrant, coating core of sweet buttery agave, zesty citrus, white pepper, and herbal celery, rounded out by faint whispers of vanilla and baking spices imparted by its brief barrel residency.
