The Chook Shiraz Viognier is sourced from the premium grape growing region of McLaren Vale in South Australia. A Mediterranean climate with warm, dry summers and cool, wet winters makes this region well suited to growing high quality Shiraz grapes. Bright aromas of red cherry, berries and lifted floral notes with hints of licorice and spice. Generously loaded with red fruits, the palate is balanced by fine, supple tannins and lingering spice notes. A soft, round shiraz with great fruit length, generosity, and drinkability.
