Tenuta Casenuove’s *Chianti Classico 2023* (Panzano in Chianti) is an organic red grown on schisty galestro and marl soils in Chianti’s famed Conca d'Oro. Aged in concrete vats and large oak foudres, it pours a deep ruby-red, opening with lifted aromas of red cherry, wild violet, crushed rock, and dried thyme. The 14.0% ABV palate is medium-bodied, linear, and vibrant, packed with sour plum, dark cranberry, firm fine-grained tannins, and a bright line of natural acidity, finishing long with a savory, stone-mineral snap.
