The story of the Recanati winery begins with owner Lenny Recanati's profound bond with the land of Israel coupled with a passion for fine wine. Today the Recanati winery, which debuted in 2000, is Israel's sixth largest wine producer. The Recanati winery in the Hefer Valley in the Upper Galilee sources grapes from some of the area's finest high-altitude vineyards, which enjoy a climate similar to that of California's Napa Valley. Recanati was recently named an Israeli Wine to Watch by Wine Spectator. Recanati wines are Kosher for Passover.
