For this Milkshake IPA, we took out traditional New England IPA and amped it up. Our. typical base of wheat, oats, and pilsner malt was supplemented with a huge additional of lactose, and hopped with strata and Sabro. Then came the fermentation process with our house yeast. We re-fermented with lots of strawberries and conditioned on vanilla beans. This IPA is thick and creamy, expressing flavors of strawberry milk, jam, ice cream and decadent luxury!
