This has a fresh nose of lime zest, lemon grass, fennel and fresh herbs. It is medium-bodied with sharp, tangy acidity. Bright, fresh and zesty with a textured and flavorful finish.\n \n Producer Information\n Locations Wine is an American value wine brand that makes blended wines from a number of countries with grapes sourced from (and popular in) those regions. It is the project of high-profile winemaker Dave Phinney, founder of Orin Swift Cellars and The Prisoner label. The varieties used in the wines are reflections of the regions from which they are sourced and include the likes of Garnacha, Tempranillo and Monastrell from Spain, Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache and Syrah from France and Negroamaro, Nero d'Avola and Barbera from Italy. The wines are not vintage-designated and have minimalist labels with only with the initials of the country in a similar style to bumper stickers once seen on European cars designating the country of origin prior to the establishment of the EU. They include F for France, E for España and I for Italy (although these have since been changed to FR, ES and IT, respectively). Locations also makes several American wines from California, Texas, Oregon and Washington that are also labeled with the initials of respective the state. The majority of the wines are red blends, but a rosé entirely from French Grenache and a varietal Vermentino from Corsica are also made. The brand was bought by US wine giant Gallo in 2018, although Gallo retained Phinney in his role as winemaker.
