The combination of the steepness and exposition means very little exposure to sunlight, resulting in a slow and delicate ripening of the Garnacha that yields a fragrant, delicate, lower alcohol, and ethereal wine.
The minerality from slate soils and complexity of the old clones from Calatayud mark the wine substantially.
