Heaven Hill Grain To Glass Kentucky wheated Bourbon 2025

Heaven Hill Grain To Glass 2025 — Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon

A bourbon as transparent in its creation as it is rich in flavor. The 2025 edition of Heaven Hill Grain To Glass Kentucky Straight Wheated Bourbon showcases what makes modern Kentucky whiskey truly compelling — from seed to bottle. This limited-edition release celebrates the full journey of whiskey-making, spotlighting carefully selected grains, purposeful aging, and expressive character.

Craft & Origin

Every step of this release reflects Heaven Hill’s dedication to quality and craft:

  • Seed to Bottle Transparency: The 2025 edition uses the Beck’s 6225 corn varietal grown locally in Nelson County, Kentucky, paired with soft winter wheat and malted barley — all chosen for flavor potential and consistency.

  • Aged in Kentucky: Matured for over six years in Heaven Hill’s Cox’s Creek rickhouses, this wheated bourbon is bottled at barrel proof (106.6, ~53.3% ABV) and non-chill filtered to preserve its full expression.

Tasting Notes

  • Appearance: Warm amber with glowing copper highlights — inviting and rich.

  • Nose: Gentle vanilla sweetness with hints of caramel, brown sugar, and subtle floral notes, backed by warm oak and spicy undertones.

  • Palate: A luxurious balance of soft fruit, toasted grain, honeyed sweetness, and oak — the wheat influence brings a smoother, rounder texture than traditional rye-forward bourbons.

  • Finish: Medium-long — toasted oak, spice, and a pleasant warmth linger with echoes of caramel and leather.
