Glenville Alexander Valley Cabernet

Glenville Alexander Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Region & Vineyard:
Crafted in the renowned Alexander Valley AVA of Sonoma County. The climate here features warm days and cool nights—ideal for ripening Cabernet Sauvignon with both intense fruit and balanced structure.

Wine-making & Aging:
The grapes are harvested at peak ripeness during the early morning hours to preserve freshness. They’re destemmed and fermented for approximately 14 days, then aged for around 20 months in French oak barrels. The profile is designed to emphasize vibrant fruit while supporting structure from oak influence.

Tasting Profile:

  • Aromas & flavors: Bright, vibrant and fruit-driven – prominent notes of black cherry and plum lead the profile.

  • Palate & finish: Rich dark fruit (black plum, blackberry) with elegant tannins, a smooth finish and ample structure for pairing or short-term aging.

  • Overall style: Bright and fresh yet serious enough to stand up to bold food; a versatile, food-friendly Cabernet.

Food Pairing:
This wine pairs especially well with hearty red meats—grilled steak, slow-roasted lamb, beef stew—or rich pasta dishes with meat sauces. Its balance of fruit and structure makes it a smart choice for elevated casual dining or a special occasion.
