In the Abruzzi region, there is the tradition to mix together Sambuca (anise based liqueur) and Centerba Toro. As such, it was natural for the Enrico Toro Casauria Distillery to create a liqueur. The result is a perfect balance between the unmistakable taste of “Centerba Toro” with a touch of the classic, Italian Sambuca.

The Toro distillery is the tale of a family and a territory, in which it is deeply and historically rooted in traditional liqueurs of the Abruzzo region. The 1817 chemist Beniamino Toro senior, created the Centerba and made it from wild and natural plants surrounding the distillery in Tocco da Casauria.
