Domaine Chanson’s *Beaune 1er Cru "Clos des Champs Pimont" 2024* (Beaune, Côte de Beaune) is an estate-grown Premier Cru red sourced from a 3-hectare plot of clay-limestone soil atop the Champs Pimont hill. Vinified with partial whole-cluster fermentation and aged in French oak barrels, it pours a deep ruby-violet, opening with intense aromas of crushed wild raspberry, dark cherry, dried violets, and subtle baking spice. The 13.5% ABV palate is medium-bodied, elegant, and tightly wound, presenting a core of red currant, licorice, and stony minerality framed by fine, chalky tannins and bright acidity, finishing long, linear, and savory.
