Falesco Vitiano Rosso Red Wine has a balanced freshness and well integrated acidity. This youthful Italian red wine has explosive and succulent aromas. The Vitiano Red pairs well with a wide array of domestic and international cuisine. This wine contains three varietals Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Sangiovese. The three varietals that comprise the Vitiano Rosso are harvested & vinified in different periods. Upon entry into the winery after harvest, each variety goes through an extended maceration on the skins with frequent pump overs. Malolactic fermentation occurred in barrel after the three varietals were blended together. The finished wine was then aged for an average of 4 months before being fined and bottled. One 750mL wine bottle of Falesco Vitiano Rosso Red Wine contains 14% alcohol by volume.
