Falesco Vitiano Bianco White Wine is fruit-forward, floral, fresh and well-balanced with an elegant softness and a refined golden hue. This Italian white wine pairs well with a wide variety of seafood and cheese-based pasta dishes. This wine contains two of the most well-known varietals found on along each of the Italian coast lines: Verdiccio along the Adriatic and Vermentino along the Tyrrhenian. The two varietals that comprise the Vitiano Bianco are harvested separately. The Vermentino typically arrives at the winery towards the beginning of September and the Verdiccio is harvested and brought to the estate directly thereafter. Upon arriving at the winery, both varietals are lightly pressed, chilled to 10°C (50°F) and cryomacerated with the skins for up to 5 hours prior to fermentation. Temperature controlled fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks and finished wine is then fined and lightly filtered before bottling that is meant to consume upon release.
