Domaine Chanson’s *Pernand-Vergelesses 1er Cru "Les Vergelesses" Rouge 2024* (Pernand-Vergelesses, Côte de Beaune) is an estate-grown Pinot Noir sourced from clay-limestone soils with a mid-slope eastern exposure. Vinified with partial whole-cluster fermentation and aged in French oak barrels, it pours a bright ruby-purple. The nose opens with expressive aromas of red berry fruit, wild strawberry, and crushed cranberries, layered with red flowers and subtle baking spice. The 13.5% ABV palate is medium-bodied, tight, and energetic, showcasing crisp red fruit, firm fine-grained tannins, and a prominent line of stony minerality, finishing long with a sleek, mouthwatering acidity.
