Domaine Chanson’s *Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Rouge 2024* is a benchmark, organic-certified Premier Cru Pinot Noir sourced from the warm, south-facing limestone and clay slopes of the iconic Clos des Mouches vineyard at the southern border of Beaune. Pours a brilliant, translucent ruby-garnet with glowing magenta highlights in the glass, it opens with a fragrant and expressive nose of wild black cherry, crushed raspberry, and red currant, beautifully interwoven with fragrant rose petals, fresh earth, and subtle toasted oak spice. Medium-bodied, silken, and remarkably refined on the palate at 13.5% ABV, it delivers a graceful core of dark plum, wild strawberry, and subtle licorice, structured by fine-grained, velvety tannins and a vibrant, mouthwatering acidity. It culminates in a long, elegant, and persistent finish that lingers with nuances of crushed stone minerality, delicate sweet spice, and classic Burgundian poise.
