Domaine Chanson’s *Beaune 1er Cru "Grèves" 2024* (Beaune, Côte de Beaune) is a prestigious Premier Cru red sourced from the iconic 2-hectare parcel of sand-gravel ("grèves") and clay limestone soils on the mid-slope of Beaune. Vinified with partial whole-cluster fermentation and aged in French oak barrels, it pours a vibrant ruby-garnet. The nose opens with layered aromas of ripe black cherry, wild strawberry, peony, and sweet spice, underlaid by a subtle woody, smoky nuance. The 13.5% ABV palate is medium-to-full-bodied, refined, and beautifully structured, delivering a dense core of dark red berries and graphite minerality supported by silky, fine-grained tannins and balanced acidity, finishing exceptionally long, elegant, and savory.
