When we visited the château in June, owner Jean-Hubert Delon was mumbling about not releasing this wine. When you taste it, you can understand why he didn't want to let go. This is a really lovely, intense, great Las Cases with typical density, blackcurrant and wild fruit in the nose. There is freshness on the attack at first which builds towards something much more serious: vibrant, quite virile tannins. Very glamourous, like a model sashaying onto a runway. Very good. As always, it will take its time to be ready.
