Each batch is uncut, unfiltered, and bottled at barrel proof, representing bourbon in its truest form. Phantom Pipes is a special release inspired by tales from Booker Noe's life around the Beam distillery in Clermont, Kentucky. Booker's bourbon is aged six to eight years in the center cut of the rickhouse-where temperatures fluctuate most-creating deep color and robust flavor. The distillery uses a high-rye mash bill, yielding bold spice, vanilla, dark caramel, and oak. The humid summers and cold winters of Kentucky drive the whiskey in and out of the barrel staves, naturally concentrating richness.
