Sercial is the driest style of Madeira; this one was aged in the traditional Canteiro system using American oak casks. Because this Madeira is fined, it doesn't require decanting. Fresh, dry fruit flavors tending toward citrus and highlighted by wood spice. It has a nutty, lingering finish. Perfect as an aperitif, this will also pair well with appetizers and, surprisingly, Indian cuisine!
