The 10-hectare vineyard has the place name, “lieu dit,” of La Justice and is located in the village of La Rochepot. The soil is very chalky, and the land has good drainage and exposure. The grapes are fermented in barrel and then matured for 6 months “sur lie” before bottling. The resulting wine is rich, well-structured, and elegant, with flavors of lemon, peach with a lovely mineral finish.
